How modernization works

1. Legacy diagnosis. We map the current system: code, database, integrations and critical points, and define what to migrate first.
2. Incremental migration plan. We split the migration into small stages, with the old and new systems running side by side, with no downtime for your operation.
3. AI-accelerated refactoring. We use AI to refactor and migrate code faster, with review by SKAD engineers at every stage.
4. Ongoing maintenance. After delivery, we keep providing support, fixes and evolution of the system, under a contract to be agreed.

SKAD is an information technology company based in São José dos Campos (SP), Brazil, founded in 2015. We design, build and maintain apps and systems for companies and entrepreneurs.

We work with the Microsoft Azure cloud and with the most current languages and technologies on the market, and we apply artificial intelligence where it brings real efficiency gains.

Our systems are designed to scale, with security and robustness, and include a maintenance service after development is complete, under a contract to be agreed.

Lucas Natal da Silva, CEO and founder · Software Engineer

A software engineer for 13 years, Lucas leads SKAD and takes part personally in the architecture of every project. His career includes Embraer, Ericsson, Atlas Schindler, Accenture and the city governments of São Bernardo do Campo and São José dos Campos.

He created Eu Católico, an app with more than 100,000 downloads, and Parkingaki, Brazil's first online parking reservation platform.

Is the prototype really free?

Yes. You describe your idea, answer the AI's questions and get the full clickable prototype for free, with all the screens, the rough estimate, the PDF and the 5 adjustments, without entering a card and with no commitment.

Do I need an account to see the prototype?

No. You open the prototype through a personal link sent to your email and, if you lose the link, you can recover access by email.

Can I share the prototype with partners or clients?

Yes. You generate a read-only sharing link with the prototype and the rough estimate (without your briefing or contact details), and you can turn it off whenever you want.

Do I get the estimate in writing?

Yes. At the end you download a PDF with the estimated cost, the modules, the timeline and the scope we gathered with you.

Is the prototype a real app?

It is a clickable prototype, used to validate screens and flows. The working app is built in a later stage, if you decide to hire us.
